Please visit and "attend" The On Line Freedom Academy. It may be the best thing for promoting freedom I have run across.
I first realized I am a libertarian anarchist after finding and reading the book "Lever Action" by L. Neil Smith. He later told me that people like himself have been called "Hooligan libertarians". I like it. L. Neil has some other really good books too.
I was also inspired by the writings and ideas of Claire Wolfe. Claire has some spectacular books, both fiction and non-fiction, about how to live your life more freely. I'm even acknowledged and quoted in one. Read them all to find out which one. She has recently decided to "drop off the radar". I hope she finds her freedom. She deserves it.
The books "The Naked Ape" and "The Human Zoo", both by Desmond Morris helped me understand some of the things about modern life, and why I have trouble adapting to it, that I had been unable to grasp before.
I'm not sure what catagory this fits in, but Self Defense: A Basic Human Right certainly inspires me.
The TV series Firefly combines a lot of things I like into one package: westerns, guns, space, humor. Check it out if you haven't yet.
This "Firefly" symbol is my creation. Inspired by Claire Wolfe and her suggestion that "freedom outlaws" call themselves "Fireflies". Her idea was inspired by the FOX television series Firefly (by Joss Whedon). A Firefly is a person who values liberty enough to do what is right in spite of the "laws" or governments' orders to the contrary. Live free in spite of government. You are free to use my Firefly to further the cause of liberty.
